Our History
Langanis Chartered Accountants is passionate about family operated businesses which can be traced back to my great grandfather who migrated to Australia after World War 2 in search of a better life for his family.
He sacrificed leaving Greece without his wife and three young children to pursue this goal and wouldn't see them for another 10 years until he saved enough to bring them to Australia. Once our family had reunited and were settled in Australia, our family began running businesses in Norwood, South Australia from the mid 1950's.
This allowed my grandfather and his siblings to establish another business in the early 1960's before venturing out into wholesaling fruit and vegetable produce in the Adelaide East End Markets. My grandfather helped farmers and market-gardeners sell their products and many friendships were made with growers all around South Australia.
My parents continued to operate various businesses within Adelaide, South Australia and Melbourne, Victoria from the time I was born to this day.
Our Why
Growing up around businesses has given me a unique understanding of what businesses and families face having learnt many lessons first-hand.
This is coupled with a wealth of experience working with clients and their businesses, spanning over a decade in public practice.
We strive to guide our clients by leveraging lessons learnt and experience gained to help them succeed and avoid costly mistakes.
